In the varsity fastpitch softball game, the first three batters in Cooney's line up scored seven of the eight runs in the team's, 8-6, win over the Huskies of West Allis Hale.

The varsity fastpitch softball team extended its win loss record to 9-4 with a, 10-0, five-inning win over the Suns of West Bend East. Freshman Brooke Little and senior Emily Klitzing each batted a perfect 3-for-3 in the victory.

The varsity fastpitch softball team battled the Orioles in at Hartford and came away with a 10-8 victory. Juniors Brianne McGuire and Delaney Osterday each had three hits in the 16 hit attack. Details.

The tennis seniors accomplished a goal set as freshmen...to win the WLT championship. The Raccoons bested the Golden Beavers of Beaver Dam, 5-2, to attain that feat. Details

The boys varsity track team won the 7-team Hartford Invitational as 10 Raccoons captured gold medals.

The girls varsity track team placed sixth out of seven teams at the Hartford Invitational. Samanth Pups won the 400 dash and Jenny Howski had the longest  jump, the 3,200 relay squad was the fastest of the day.

The varsity fastpitch softball team split a double header with West Bend West. Teams tied for second place with 7-4 records. Details.

The varsity tennis team kept their WLT Conference record unblemished with a 6-1 win over West Bend West. Seniors Matt VanLannen and Jared Karis, playing at No. 2 doubles improved their record to 12-4. Details.

The fastpitch softball team won its 9th consecutive game, 3-1, over the Owls at Slinger. Pitchers Delaney Osterdorf for Oconomowoc and Emma Malom of Slinger matched each other pitch-for-pitch the entire way. Details.

In tennis seniors Alex Adler and Doug Wegner, playing No. 1 doubles at the Bay Team Classic went undefeated, 4-0. They now have a record of 12 wins and 1 loss. Details.

The varsity baseball team thumped the Red Knights of Milwaukee Lutheran, 15-5, in five innings. TJ Roberts smacked two home runs and added six RBI to the team's total.

The Lightning varsity baseball team defeated Messmer 10-5 with senior Brady Andersen leading the way. Andersen had two triples in his three hits and he collected four RBI. Freshman Ben Wilkins earned his second win of the season.

The Lightning varsity baseball bats came alive as the team pounded out 15 hits and scored 11 runs while the pitching of sophomore Jesse Turner held Dominican to just two hits which produced two runs in the team's 11-2 victory. Turner whiffed eight Knights and walked two batters.

The Lightning varsity baseball team swept a double header against Palmyra-
Eagle. The hosts' won the first game, 7-6, and took the night cap 7-5.

The Lightning girls basketball season came to an end in Burlington as it was defeated by the Lady Hilltoppers of Catholic Central, 68-47.

The Lightning girls basketball
team moves on as it defeated Hustisford 68-46. Senior Brianna Steirer led the team with 17 points and sophomore Mary Hirt added 14 of the team's total. They will play Catholic Central tomorrow, Mar. 10, at Catholic Central with tip-off set for 7 p.m.

Playing in the first round of the WIAA regional girls basketball tournament the Lightning  defeated the Eagles of Sheboygan Christian 59-32. They will host the Falcons of Hustisford on Friday, Mar. 9 at 7 p.m. in the WIAA regional final.
