The junior varsity boys basketball team came from behind to defeat Hartford 68-61. Sophomore Nate Nord led the charge as he scored 21 points on the night.

The varsity boys basketball team led the Hartford Orioles 16-14 after eight minutes of action but then the Hartford squad took control and never trailed again, winning 68-56. TJ Schlundt led the Raccoons with 21 points. Story/box score.

A total of 64 shots on goal and 15 penalties produced an exciting ice hockey game which had the Lasers defeating Monona Grove 5-4. Greg Simandl had two goals and an assist for KMMO.

The varsity girls basketball team lost its first WLT game of the season to Beaver Dam, 55-47. The Golden Beavers are now the only undefeated team in conference action.

The varsity wrestling team bested the Suns of West Bend East 47-25. The Raccoons won nine of the 14 matches. Box score.

The junior varsity wrestlng squad downed the Suns, winning eight of 11 matches. Freshman Jake Hyland won both of his matches, one by pin and the other a, 6-2, decision.

The boys varsity basketball team got back on track with an exciting overtime win on the court of West Bend East by a score of 65-60. Junior Matt Ellesbeg scored five points on the night, all of them coming in the overtime period.

The Cooney girls varsity basketball team pulled out a, 40-39, squeaker over the Rockets of South Milwaukee. Mandy Prom and Carly Hall led the Raccoons as they had 12 and 13 points, respectively while Riley Budde and Emily Pusheck had 12 and 13, respectively for the Rockets.

At the 5:39 mark of the third period junior forward Austin Freeman scored unassisted, breaking a 3-3 tie in the ice hockey game between KMMO and Waukesha. The Lasers lit the lamp three more times to pull out an easy, 7-3, win improving their record to 16-3=0 on the season.

Cold shooting was again the downfall of the varsity boys basketball team as it fell to the Owls of Slinger, 56-36. The Raccoons scored but single digits in the first three quarters of the WLT conference loss.

The varsity girls basketball team had no trouble in staying undefeated in WLT action as it downed the Owls from Slinger 45-25. Carly Hall led all scorers as she netted 13 points on the night.

The varsity boys basketball team got back in the win column in grand fashion.  A 25-footer by sophomore TJ Schlundt knotted the game at 64-64 and six seconds remained on the clock. In that six seconds, junior Mitch Pauers intercepted the inbounds pass, called time out, the ball was put in play, Pauers took a shot, it rolled off the rim and junior Zach Poker got a put-back at the buzzer for the Cooney, 66-64, win over Kettle Moraine.

Playing in the Admirals Cup at the Bradley Center the KMMO ice hockey team defeated the Warhawks from Arrowhead, 6-2. This is the second time in a week the Warhawks have fallen to the Lasers.

Playing in the Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook Shootout at Concordia University the varsity boys basketball team dropped its game to the Cardinals of Sun Prairie. Sophomore TJ Schlundt and junior Danny Duffy led the Raccoons as each netted nine points in the, 66-43, game.
