The Lasers of Kettle Moraine were too much for Oconomowoc varsity football team as the hosting Raccoons bowed, 21-9.

September 2, 2010

Cooney senior Whitney Cull was the first to cross the finish line in the Nature Hill Challenge cross country junior varsity meet as she posted a time of 18:43.81. Four of the Oconomowoc JV runners finished in the top ten.

Junior Mandy Prom was the first Raccoon to finish and she placed 2nd with a time of 16:04.16. In the varsity race six of the Cooney runners placed in the top 10.

Noah Brown took third place in the varsity race as he finished with a time of 18:11.13 and senior Alex Graeff crossed the finish line in 32nd place for the JV harriers. See inside for complete results.

The Oconomowoc High Shool soccer team lost its first game of the season, bowing to the Lasers from Kettle Moraine, 3-0.

Junior Allison Parra leads Cooney golfers to fourth place at Hartford. Parra shot a 48 just three strokes behind the meet medalist who shot a 45.

Varsity football starts season with 22-6 win over Menomonee Falls Indians. Senior Brady Nold carried the football 30 times, gaining 184 yards and scoring two touchdowns.

A 91-yard pass from senior Garrett Stocke to senior Matt Brueser provided a come-from-behind, 16-12, win in the fourth quarter for Lake Country Lutheran. Brueser kicked the extra point for good measure. St. Johns's Northwestern Military Academy suffered the loss.
